Hi All,

I tried to stop one of the broker using the command mqsistop but the broker is not getting stopped at all.
I also tried with -i option but without any luck....

Could anyone please tell me what could be the reason for broker not getting stopped....

Thanks

Hi,

Think this should be in the business integration forum really. Perhaps a moderator will move it for you ...

In the meantime, do you have any relevant messages in your syslog/events? Which platform? Which version of Broker?

Seems your id do not have sufficinet privilage to stop the broker. Try to stop with id used to create this broker. otherwise use the mqsichangebroker command to change it to your id and password.

Cheers,
Aditya

Whoaaa there, I wouldn't do that ... at least not without finding out why you can't stop it first ...

I thought we were just trying to stop the broker here ... why would you want to do that?

First check the logs (event and system)

Please confirm no flows are in infinite loop and debugger is terminated.

Nagarjun

Hi All,

Thank you very much for all your inputs...
not sure about the issue, but after stopping the broker using -i option and restarting it has solved the problem...
Thanks again..
