From memory I think its CSD 14 for 5.3.

Of course though, and im sure you're well aware that 5.3 is no longer supported anyway and instead of applying this FP, you may wish to push for an upgrade to at least version 6

I have asked the same Q to my clients over a hundred times . There are in no mood.
And hey did u find any link for the service pack 14 u mentioned, I wanted to know whether it is compactible with AIX V5.2 ML 10. As of now even the above mentioned version is also working fine with the AIX 5.2 ML10, but still wanted to confirm once

In no mood to use WMQ long term?

Why does this matter? None of the v5.3 versions are supported. So your clients are taking a business risk, and every time they apply a patch to AIX they're leaping into the unknown. So it will work, or it won't, and you can't rely on it, and when it acts odd it's on you not IBM.

Yes, its a hassle for the MQ admins and then finally they will complain to their managers that a upgrade is really required.

Then the question is what will the client do?

The client will evaluate the business risk of using unsupported software, plus the risk of future OS upgrades with unpredictable results, plus the waste of license money, and make a judgement.
