Hi All,
I want to specify a particular datetime format (yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss.SSS) in message set to validate the Input XML.
IF any one knows any way to achieve this please let me know.
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Gaurav |

You need to define a pattern in the value contraints. More detailed information found in the manual. |

this is always been a problem in broker
1. After creating the mxsd , change the format of the particular field to
yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss.SSS.
2. you have do this manually every time generate the mxsd. or yo can write a scrit to do that.
Hope this helps.. _________________ Thanks |

I think you mean "It is always necessary to configure message definitions to meet business requirements, and it is never a good idea to rely on default values to match business requirements".
Regardless, if gaurav.udgir is using Broker 6.1, gaurav.udgir doesn't need a message set at all but can use an XSD and the XMLNSC parser. And get better performance as well.
Of course, gaurav.udgir will still have to create the XSD to MEET business requirements. |
