Have made communication link between two queue manager with SDR, RCVR channel.

The messges are going through fine. But after 2-3 hours the channel goes to inactive state. But once messages come to transmit queue the channel is not coming up from inactive state.

in queue manager log:
Am able to see cannel ended normally as it crossed DISINT interval.

But in /var/mqm/errors:>vi AMQERR01.LOG

it is written like

07/22/10 12:53:24
AMQ5008: An essential WebSphere MQ process 10571 cannot be found and is assumed
to be terminated.

EXPLANATION:
1) A user has inadvertently terminated the process. 2) The system is low on
resources. Some operating systems terminate processes to free resources. If
your system is low on resources, it is possible it has terminated the process
so that a new process can be created.
ACTION:
WebSphere MQ will stop all MQ processes. Inform your systems administrator.
When the problem is rectified WebSphere MQ can be restarted.

system date:

Could any one please help me soon why the channel is not comming up from inactive state even the messages reaches the transmit queue.

You need to setup channel initiation. Otherwise the channel will remain in inactive state after the discint unless you manually start the channel.

I dont think the error in /var/mqm/errors is related to this.

Channel Initiation is triggering for a channel. You will information on setting up channel initiation in the intercommunication guide or even MQ Primer I think.
