Hi,

is there any utility or API which encrypt the messages while putting it in the queue so that any user[including mqm] would not able to see the message content when it get stuck in the queue.

kindly note that i am looking for message protection solution when it come and sit in the queue.

Oddly enough, it costs money.

If you don't want to pay money then you can always roll your own;

A quick google for 'encryption api' shows quite a few. Some of them are even free.

The point here is that the application data component of a message is the sole responsibility of the application that creates the message - MQ doesn't care about the application data component content.

One client I've worked with calls a proprietary subprogram that encrypts the app data component just before mqputs, and just after mqgets.

WMQ exit points can be used to do this without changing the application.

Data Secure from Primeur is an add-on that provides this function.
