Hi,
I know the difference between the SDR/RCVR pair and the SVR/RQSTR pair.
I just want to know which channel is preferable in which condition?
Is there any security issue to be considered while choosing any of the pairs of channels?
Which pair of channel is faster compared to the other?
Can u just help me out regarding this?

i assume there is no speed difference. it is just a matter of who is initiating the connection. if you want the receiving end to be able to initiate a connection, then you must use a RQSTR. Notice, on the sending end, you can have SDR, SVR with CONNAME and SVR without CONNAME.
SVR without CONNAME will connect to the IP address of the RQSTR, so yes, this may be a security issue.

It depends how you are defining faster. If you mean message transmission, then both channel pairs ( in running state) will take same time in message transmission (considering network is ideal in both circumstances).
If the server channel is in inactive/stop mode and your server channel is not a fully-defined server channel, then you need to start it. This may consider as delay if the benchmark for faster is message delivered to end site queue manager after sender application sends it.

This means the channel could be used alternatively in any of the situations except for the speed. As told the channels perform the same when it comes to the transmission of the messages.
Apart from this there is no other point to be considered right for choosing the channels?
