Hi Guys,
I know MQ version 7 supports only on solaris 9 & 10. Does this mean MQ client also?.

Did anybody try to install MQversion 7 client on solaris 8?.

Ch 3 of WMQ 7.0 Quick Beginnings for Solaris says Client requires Solaris 9 or 10 on SPARC h/w and Solaris 10 on X86-64 h/w. It may work on Solaris 8 but IBM won't provide any support if you have problems.

There is a check in the install for a minimum of Solaris 9. That is the level the product is built on so it is unlikely to work on anything earlier.
