Hi,
I am very new to MQSI. Now I am trying a simple message flow, converting a CWF message into a XML message. I imported a message type from a simple C header file. I got a warning when I did the import "Custom Wire Format Plug-in is not installed or registered for the project. No Custom Wire Format values will be set as a result". What's "Custom Wire Format Plug-in". How can I install it?
thanks |

Hi,
In WMQI 2.1 you should first add Physical Wire Format to your message set before importing/creating data elements. There are 3 types of wire formats that you could attach to a message set, they are.. CWF, XML and TDS.
Before you import your C header file you should CWF physical wire format to your message set. _________________ Kiran

Thanks. After I added in Physical Format, the warning about "Custom Wire Format Plug-in" went away. Is adding physical format new in MQSI 2.1? I am reading a MQSI redbook on MQSI 2.0, there is not mention about adding in physical format. |
