Hi,
I am using a subflow twice in a mainflow for normal output and failure output. The subflow provides several User Defined Properties to configure it in the mainflow. Hence, I promoted the same UDPs with different names in the mainflow (e.g. LogKey -> Output and Failure).
Now, when the message takes the failure path, the LogKey is still set to Output. I already played around with the scope of the User Defined Properties declared in my ESQL. Nevertheless, either they are defined on schema or on module level, they are still not set with the right value from the Promoted Property.
What am I doing wrong?
Cheers,

Promoting them with different names... did you show that the names appear in the bar file. If they do not you may have to declare them as UDPs in the main flow... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Yupp, they appear in the BAR, where they have different values.
With regard to the promoted properties, I have for example:
OutputLogKey <-- SUB_MqOutput.LogKey
FailureLogKey <-- SUB_MqOutput1.LogKey
Where LogKey is the UDP defined in the SUB_MqOutput flow and declared in that flow's ESQL. |

Hmmmm,
after chatting with a colleague I specified the values directly on the SubFlow Nodes ... without promoting.
And *tata* it works!!!
So what does promotion change in that context?
I simply used the promotion feature to group the variables of the same SubFlow types under logical tabs in the Main Flow's properties view. |
