I am trying to set up a WMQ JMS client

For WMQ 7 on Windows for a remote WMQ Client:

Which jar files are required on the client

Could someone please post me a link ?

Thanks

As has been discussed here a few times, it's better/easier to install the relevant client for your platform than just the jar files.

Each of these clients is available as a support pac from the IBM site.

I am required to use a generic client in which I add the appropriate JMS jars to . I downloaded the MQ client for WIndows, but it is not set up to explain the jars.

I did a search on MQSeries.net and found many references, but I did not find a post explaining which jars to include

Can anyone provide me with a link to a post or doc explaining this ?

Thanks in advance

How is this maintained as all the software changes version? How do you prevent it becoming a large footprint thing that's all things to all men, and has far more stuff than a specific application needs?

That's because it's not expected/intended that you'll unwrap the jar files from the client.

I typed in "jar files" and got 5 pages of hits. The first one on the first page had the information you need.

This post explains what you need, and highlights one of the problems (that the jar files changed in number and content between v6 & v7)

This link: http://publibfp.boulder.ibm.com/epubs/pdf/csqzaw12.pdf will help you. Please look into the section: Post installation setup.
