Can Informatica Powercenter Client Read from MQ Series Server
(where Informatica Powercenter Client and MQ Series Server are installed on the same machine).
I tried to and encountered the below error:
"No MQ Sources found to attach the MQ Source Qualifier"
Steps followed:
1. Local queue created on MQ.
2. Test message put on queue.
3. In Informatica PowerCenter, created a MQ Series source.
4. Created a mapping in Informatica PowerCenter.
5. Attached the previously created MQ Series Source into the Mapping.
4. Tried to add "MQ Source Qualifier Transformation" to the mapping - thats when the above error message was displayed.
Please suggest.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,

We have installed Informatica RT version - PowerCenter which supports MQ Series Transformation.
Configuration issue looks less likely here.
Any other suggestion? |

You've got exactly and only an Informatica error, that you've barely reported here and barely apparently attempted to troubleshoot.
It's almost certainly an Informatica configuration issue, or it's an MQ configuration issue.
However, you've done nothing to tell us anything about any of the actual configuration, or any real detail about any of the real error conditions.
So, the best we can say is "Yes, something is wrong. Try fixing it". |
