Yes, you are installing an out-of-date and unsupported version
Go and get the mqconfig script from the IBM website, run it, and correct any highlighted issues, and check the Quick Beginnings for that platform and WMQ version (IBM website again) - if you must stay at that level. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

1. Installing v5.3.12 - there's no good reason for installing that, and some increasingly poor reasons for using it. If you're installing new you should at least be using v6
2. Not looking in the FDC files to determine the problem. Of course, if you were using a supported version you could pass them to IBM for assistance. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Actually previously i have installed MQ6 previously
Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 6.0.2.6
CMVC level: p600-206-090217
BuildType: IKAP - (Production)
Later on there was some requirements so that i havd remove the package and mq6 and than installed Mq5.0 with CSD12
When i try to create the qmanager this exception occurs and i can't creat the qmanager |

Maybe because the settings required for V5.3 and V6.0 are different? And the settings were left as for V6.0? Just a thought.... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

What possible requirement could that be?

So either:
- go back to using v6
- look in the FDC files as I suggested _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Have you tried using a more recent CSD? Or better still v6? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
