Hi,

We installed Fix pack 6.1.0.4 from 6.1.0.2 ...but when i checked for mqsiservice -v it still shows as :

BIPv610 en US
ucnv Console CCSID 819 dft ucnv CCSID 819
ICUW ISO-8859-1 ICUA ISO-8859-1

BIP8996I: Version: 6102
BIP8997I: Product: WebSphere Message Brokers
BIP8998I: CMVC Level: S610-FP02 DH610-FP02

Any thoughts?

Search a little on the forum. You need to run some other command to make the broker change its behavior (aware?) of the upgrade once you have done it.

I'm gonna have to disagree with your police work there, FJ.

If you have applied the FP onto the *exact* same location as the previous install, then after you have re-run the mqsiprofile, it should report the current version. It may also report the effective version, which may not be the same number. But it should always report the current level of the product install somewhere.

Odds are good that either rao135 has not installed into the same location, and thus not run the correct mqsiprofile, or has not re-run the correct mqsiprofile after applying the fp.
