Our client is searching for a Consultant who will function as a Messaging Specialist. Any experience in the financial industry is a plus.

Must have a strong technical messaging background with solid experience managing the application development process in a multi-platform environment. The requested consultant is required to augment the current staff in order to execute the routine maintenance/support and small enhancement projects for all BDS messaging applications. The current staff of 2 employees will be allocated 75% to a new front end messaging migration project that is estimated to be completed by May 2010.

Good analytic ability and communication skills required. Should have at least five years experience working in an enterprise environment with solid accomplishments in software configuration management employing the following products:

- MQSeries for Open VMS and AIX
- IBM DB2 or Oracle Database management systems
- Websphere Message Broker a plus
- Operating Systems - Open VMS, UNIX, MS Windows
- Programming languages: C, Java, ESQL

The preferred candidate should possess the following: Excellent oral and written communication skills; Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources; Must be able to take strategic direction from executive management; Must take initiative; Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance.
