Hi All,
We are having an issue with MQ in production environment. On couple of windows 2003 servers, MQ services is not starting automatically after server reboot eventhough we have configured the service and the queue manager to be automatic at startup. No FDC's generated and no error logs in the mq log and also in the Event viewer. its as if the service is not even called. I could not find much information on the same. we were able to start the service and queue manager manually without any issue but it is not running automatically after server reboot. Do we have to do any special settings/configuration for Windows 2003. Can somebody please help on this ?
Thanks,
Ganesh Pandian. |

Do you mean MQ services under Windows services or Queue manager?
If that's queue manager, use amqmdain. _________________ Regards

The MQ Service not starting up, even though set to Automatic, on VMWares has bee reported here and on the list serve before. I've seen it here a couple of time too.
I wonder if this is a problem with just the MQ Serive or any Service under VMWare occasionally not starting. _________________ Peter Potkay

We are also running MQ6.0.2.2 on VMWare without any problem for more than a year in production. |
