Hello everyone,
Has anybody here used the product "Vital Signs" before. This apparently is the tool that can be used to analyze extracted audit trail data from workflow. I haven't used it just yet, but at work we will be getting it pretty soon and I just wanted to get an idea of what some of the advantages/disavantages(things that could be better!) were and stuff like that.
Also any general opinions from people that may have used it before. And finally, whether or not there's any documentation out there on this product? If you aware of any links or so...let me know.
Thanks/Happy holidays!

I have also been looking into this. Currently our management is looking into purchasing this as well. One of the reasons is because of having to manage a lot of audit trail info and for performance reasons too.
let me know if you find any useful info on this.
thanks

We are using this tool and really helpful in determining the total history of a work instance.
++
Its no doubt a great tool.

Its bit slow. After the recent tuning of the database by SYSCOM, the performance has improved lot. But still from the user's perspecitve it is slow. I guess that could be because of the Graphics it provides to track the changes.
Wishlist:
Could it be made customizable? Suppose if I have three users( Web,Batch etc..) putting messages into workflow, can the tool provide a report on a particular date how many messages received from each user. Some sort of balancing feature? |

Oh yeah. We have had a chance to take a look at the tool more closely and are now making use of it in both pilot and production environments.
It works pretty well in that it is able to analyze your audit trail data. The install was a little tricky and the fact that it is a little slow are the 2 things that we initially had issues with. Other than that, it's a great software suite to have if you have a workflow system and are wanting to track yoru activities, timings etc.
