Hi

I have the toolkit and runtime 6.1.03 on my Win XP, SP3 laptop. Broker and Samples DBs are all Derby. They work fine.

I need to make calls to stored procedures and as I could not work out, easily, how to define these in Derby I installed DB2 9.7 Personal edition locally.

Problem is that although I have created my DB I cannot associate the broker with it.

The DB is created in Windows DataSources and the Test Connection is successful.

mqsicreatedb with '-e' of DB2 fails with:

BIP9803W: The requested database engine 'DB2' could not be found.
The database engine specified can not be used.
Please specified a different database engine.

Any ideas?

If you have a working ODBC data source, you don't need to use mqsicreatedb.

The ODBC entry is in DataSources of Control Panel and odbc/cli test works fine.
