Hi All,
Recently we have upgraded our MQWF environment as follows:
WF from 3.6.0.3 to 3.6.0.8
DB2 from 8.2 to 9.1.0.5
MQ from 5.3 to 6.0.2.4
We followed all the steps that were need to do the upgrade.
Everything runs fine.
However, once in a while we get the following error.
07/28/09 01:52:34 PM FMC31050E An error has occurred which has terminated proces
sing.

Any ideas what would have caused this ???

Hi Pats,
your database seems to be corrupted (TOMNotUnique Exception).
This error was triggered by a runtime client (RTC) when selecting forceFinish of an activity.
You can either open a PMR and get in contact with IBM support or you can try to drill down your problem a little bit further:
try to identify the activity in question and figure out what is specific in this case. There must be a user who selected ForceFinish for this activity and who experienced an APITimeout exception (after 3 minutes of waiting for an answer). Once you identified the activity in question, you might figure out a solution, how to repair your business process without forceFinish.
Good Luck! |

Well this problem has not occured again till now. So I am not able to get to the root of it.
Just wanted to know, by saying that the database might be corrupted.
Do you mean the whole of the database, or some data related only to the process instance that might have caused this error.
I am asking this because if it is only one instance related data, then its not a bug worry. But if it is the whole database then we might be in a bigger trouble. |

If the error does occur so sporadically, I would say only this specific instance is corrupted |
