I am using WMB V61. I want to create a new messageset based on an existing one which contains some complex message defintions. Here is what I did on the toolkit:
File/new message set - My_New_MS
select the message set I want to copy under "copy message set contents from another messageset"
This resukts in a new messageset with message defintiions identical to the message set I specified to copy from.
However the messageset I copied from has (default namespace) for its message definition.
If I want to use a different namespace for the message defintion under the new message set (MY_New_MS), how can I do it.?

The toolkit does not have built-in support for this kind of refactoring. However, you should be able to open the mxsd file(s) in a text editor and edit the namespace bindings at the top of the file(s).
Make sure that you close any message definition file editors first

I opened up the msxd editor. I am not sure if this is the place you are referring to. On the top right hand side of the properties tab, there is a block called "namespace". Inside the block are two fields "Prefix" and "Target Namespace". For the msxd with default namespace. Both fields are empty. But the toolkit does not allow me to make any changes to both fields. Am I looking at the right place?

Right-click the file, select 'Open with...' and select 'Text editor'
A message definition file is simply an XML schema with annotations. If you know XML, you can modify the namespace yourself using the text editor ( very carefully, of course ).
