Hi Guys,

we are applying MQ fixpack 7.0.0.2 on solaris server. Current version is MQ v7.0. I got the below error.

Is the base version not installed properly? Let me know your thoughts

It sounds like you haven't stopped all your queue managers, or you started them as a non-mqm user.

I have stooped all Queue Managers. But why does it say

That looks like a message from pkgadd. "mqm" is one of the component packages in "WebSphere MQ for Sun Solaris".

Compare the permissions on the .lck files and their parent directories with a known good installation.
