The WMB based pub/sub functionality may become no longer available in a future version of WMB(?)

Has anyone performed a migrate from the WMB pub/sub to an MQ based pub/sub (runmqbrk, strmqbrk processes etc)

What are the pros and cons of moving to an MQ based broker for pub/sub while still retaining the WMB for message transformation?

I have reviewed the Websphere MQ Publish Subscribe User's Guide which is a very good resource on this topic but still not sure about the answer to the above question.

Don't trust any documentation that is not downloaded from ibm.com.

MQ v6 pub/sub is already obsoleted and replaced with MQ v7 pub/sub. So don't try and use MQ v6 pub/sub at all, if you are moving away from MB pub/sub.

Don't expect reliable commentary here on future directions.

I believe the future direction is to allow an installation option (per broker?) of WMB pub/sub function or MQ V7 pub/sub.

It was explained in the UK user group last week but I can't remember the exact details.
