Hello ,
We have migrated MQ from 5.3 to 6.Some testing is going on at present.
Just want to check weather can we back up from MQ 6 to MQ5.3 if anything go wrongs in testing without loosing the data. |

sure. fallback is very easy. just restore the backup you took before you started the migration.
you may consider telling us more about your environment, as fallback procedures can depend on your hard and software environment.
you should also consider to read the migration guide, it also contains fallback procedures (afaik).
you should also consider to get all this information BEFORE you migrate, as you may miss steps during migration that prevent you to perform a successfull fallback. _________________ Regards, Butcher |

I am using solaris 8.We have backed the mqm filesystems before upgrading to MQ6.Please send if there is any link avaliable to failback from MQ6 to MQ5.3. |
