We have a cluster setup among different servers... we're migrating to a new DC so the only thing that will change is the host name.
Quesiton I have is.. are we going to have to remove our selves as part of the cluster and then rejoin or will things just "magically" work, I believe the newer Verison of MQ can detect changes.
Any input would be appreciated.

No magic or magically here. If all works well, shutting down the qmgr, then moving to the new data center should work.
I'd suggest that you follow the directions in the WMQ Clusters manual to suspend your qmgr from the cluster. Then resume once you've moved to the new datacenter.

Are you physically moving the servers?
Or standing up new servers and resinstalling MQ and building the QMs with the same names and objects?

Just phisically moving servers from one DC to another. I am asuming with non clustering.. we can just tell the clients to point to new host and the defenitions would be the same but was just puzzled on how to go about the clustered ones.

Some differences between the non-clustered and clustered qmgrs.
Whether you move some or all qmgrs from point A to point B, you will need to update channel definitions to the new ipaddresses.
Read the WMQ Cluster Queue Managers manual for suspending a qmgr from a cluster. This notifies the cluster to stop using the suspended qmgr for future mqconnects.
Next, read the same manual for altering a cluster object. The grafeful way is to stop the channel, make the ipaddress changes, then start the channel.
If you are looking for magic, do not look to clusters.

hmm... at network/firewall level, if the old servers are to be dumped and the new servers are taking place then Host name could be the same only the IP address (behind that Host Name) would change.
If I am able to think correctly.

Host name is not necessary to change... You can use the existing host name..
if host name need to change then DNS alias i.e connection name in channels need to be change etc....
Apart from that if you want to minimize the downtime then you should migrate on new queue manager name..with same mq object definition of existing queue manager..
What about D/B, weblogic/WAS, app/web servers etc? are you planning to migrate them also on new host?
