My application requirement is, getting a large volume of messages from source system and need to populate the same data to target system. (Kind of online replication from db A to db B)
Here target system is netezaa db so I would like know,
First of all, Is it broker will support netezaa?
Instead of using broker we can go for a different tool? & any suggested tools.
What are the performance constraints between the broker and netezaa db?

Is it a one time replication of data, or an ongoing task? This would influence your choice of tools.

are you doing a DB to DB transfer?

Are you doing any transformation?

If we are talking DB2, it has a feature for automatic queue based replication of changes from one database to another.

Thanks to All

Vitor :

1. Ongoing task. live datat online sync up.

Gaya3 :

1. yes, db to db. target is : netezaa
2. Involved less transformation but intert/update/delete to be performed while updating a target db.

If there's no requirement for transformation, you might want to consider one of the ETL tools.

Already we kept ETL is another option.
We have message broker environment for different purpose so we are planning to get the benefits from that but I am not quite sure about connectivity between broker/netezaa database.

Is it broker configuration similar to oracle/db2? & Performance?

I'd imagine it's a similar configuration to any data source, but I've no direct experience of netezaa or how it exposes connectivity.

I think a quick proof of concept will answer both of the above questions.
