All, I downloaded CSD02 (U200171) for WMQI V2.1 on W2K...I install it...I then look in the registry and see that the key MyComputer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\IBM\WebsphereMQIntegrator\CurrentVersion\CSDSApplied\LatestCSD is 3.
I then execute the uninstall dialogue from Programs\IBM Websphere MQ Integrator 2.1\Uninstall and at the bottom of the dialogue box is a radio button that is labeled 'Backout CSD 2...'
So what gives, why does the registry indicate CSD 3 when I install CSD 2?

Marc,
I guess that's the way IBM maintains it in the registry. memo.ptf file into <wmqi_home> directory will tell you what CSD level you are at.
It will say something like this ...
Quote: |
....This memo.ptf file corresponds to CSD03 which is defined as PTF U200178 and is divided into the following sections: ...

Version 2.1 had the concept of "update". Right after 2.1 was released, CSD0 was sent out as update 1. So on my UNIX box when I look at the ptf_installed file, I see update 4, but it reflects the CSD3 package.
This might be the source of confusion.
