I'm trying to configure MQ Cleint to Server with the server side set to:
SSLCAUTH(OPTIONAL)
SSLCIPH(DES_SHA_EXPORT)
to only use SSL encryption. As you may guess it's not working. We want to get this set so the Client side will not have to use or manage any certificates or SSL databases, we currently have this working for server to server but not client to server. What is the correct set up on the Client Side to get this to work only for SSL encryption. Is this possible?
What is the error you are getting when you try to connect? Are you trying with SSL enabled from client? _________________ _____________

Even if you don't want the Client to authenticate, you still need a SSL Keystore to hold the QMGR Signers key. Otherwise, the client cannot decrypt data from the QMGR.
There is a support pac or two that can help you. MO04?
