Hi,
Make sure that you have IBM rational agent controller service is up and running.
Whenever you connect in debug mode choose the new configuration and assign the message flow project you want to debug to it.And also confirm that you are assigning the unique port to the flow engine.

There is no IBM rational agent controller service for WMB V 6.1.
JAVA debugger is packed along with the product _________________ Regards

you have to open a port for this to debug, and has to bounce your broker.
then select the execution group from the debugger mode and add the flow in to it and debug it _________________ Regards

Hi Gayatri,
I have a doubt. Let us say I have created one more execution group and deployed flows to it. Should I assign a different port number to it or he same port number given to the other execution group?
Coming to bouncing the broker, Is it advisable to bounce the broker in production? Is there any other alternative for this? |

Why are you planning to run debug in a production environment?

No, but it's like any other scheduled maintenance you can do at the weekend. Much less disruptive than using debug in a productive environment will be. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hi Vitor,
Sorry for my thoughtless question regarding bouncing the broker. Thanks for making me realize. However, you didn't answer my question regarding assigning port number to a newly created execution group. Should we assign a unique port number to every execution group created? |
