Hi,

I was concerned about a contact admin windows queue manager I just owned from one of my colleages for operation and supporting.

When I run a dspmq on that machine it returns:

QMNAME(BOCHECK) STATUS(MSGEXIT ist nur für den Kanaltyp *SDR, *SVR, *RCVR *RQS
TR, *CLUSSDR oder *CLUSRCVR zulässig.)

which means STATUS(MSGEXIT is only available for . . )

Has anyone ever seen this messages before?

looks like this is the german version of AMQ8319 that you get displayed in the STATUS(...)

but why?!? maybe a version / language / ... ?!? mix or screw up? someone fiddling around with the language files?

Hi,

well its not the language I´m confused about but the fact that there is no normal status information like:

STATUS(RUNNING)

when the queue manager is up. What does this message regarding the exit mean in the status field.

There are also some strange behaviour with the runmqsc command. When I connect to queue manager with runmqsc BOCKECK I get a prompt but there is the hint - "NO" and "Connection ID not found" (all in german .)

Any ideas . . . ?

See:
C:\Programme\IBM\WebSphere MQ>runmqsc BOCHECK
Nein
Verbindungs-ID nicht gefunden.

did you try to use runmqsc with the full path? maybe someone installed some replacements or scripts that are called instead?!? check you rPATH statement and if it is really dspmq or runmqsc you call.

Hi!

I have exactly the same issue but the message displayed is in French.
Did you find a solution?

Hi,

it's quite an old thread. Yesterday I had the same problem. After searching with Google I found the solution. It's a bug in 6.0.2.6, fixed in 6.0.2.7.
