When I start a queue manager from the Explorer, I got the follwoing error:
****************************************
* Command: amqmdain qmgr start HIPPO
****************************************
Initialization of resource 'amqmsrvn' failed, rc=0x8000401a
The server process could not be started because the configured identity is incorrect. Check the username and password.
exitvalue = -4
I then run dcomcnfg utility and check the user which run the MQ services in windows:
) start --> run --> dcomcnfg
2)Expanded Component Services > Computers > My Computer > DCOM Config ->IBM MQSeries Services
When I checked the identity tab, there was correct user MUSR_MQADMIN.
I know, nothing has been changed in this desktop( this is my desktop).
What could have been happened and how can I resolve this issue? I would appreciate your suggestion. |

Is that QMgr is local to the desktop where your Explorer is running?. If so, are you able to start the Qmgr as a service in cmd?. i.e., amqmdain start <QMgr Name>.?
Thanks. |

In fact explorer uses the amqmdain behind the scene. So, I can not run the amqmdain command either. |

check the logon parameter set at MQ Series Service.
you need to Right click the IBM MQ series service and verify the log on parameter.
Cheers,
