Another question, is it OK to use 6.1.04 Toolkit with runtime 6.1.03 as it would take some time to get the maintenance applied to all my brokers? |

Yes of course, especially with such a minor version difference.
However, when moving to a newer toolkit make sure that the features you'll use are also available in the runtime. For example, IBM introduced the phpcompute node in one fixpack, the MQheader node in another. |

So that's Yes, except when it's No?
I use the FileOutput node, but not the SFTP (FP4) feature - but will the FP4 toolkit generate FileOutput node configuration XML that runtime FP3 won't understand? |

Sorry, I realized my answer was a bit ambiguous
I don't see any problems when using the toolkit for administration.

I'd be surprised if that was the case, but I'm not familiar with how IBM manages compatibility between the two.
Do you have a local broker that you use while developing where you could test this? |
