Hi Guys,

I have uninstaled mq v6.0 on solaris box. I have seens bin directory under opt/mqm with no files under it. I have deleted it.

Can I delete the /opt/mqm and /var/mqm filesystems ?

Actually we are decomissiong the server. Can we remove the var/mqm and opt/mqm directories?

You already deleted it, so you kinda answered your own question.

If the server is not going to exist shortly, why do you care what happens to any of the dirs?

If you have uninstalled MQ and there are no plans to reinstall MQ on that system, yes, you can remove /opt/mqm and /var/mqm. It won't cause any harm to Solaris.
