I need to send the input message as an attachment through the email output node.

how to go about doing this?

The obvious answer is "by following the instructions in the documentation", but I'm guessing you've tried this.

You're not the first person to ask this; usually it's people who can send emails, but don't seem to manage attachment If you search the forum, you'll find some possibly useful discussions on getting attachements into emails, one of which may be relevant to your particular circumstance.

Location: Somewhere over the Rainbow this side of Never-never land.

Look at the SAMPLE flow provided with the toolkit. You can send attatchments from this example.
This is what I did when I wanted to use this node.
I modified the sample flows to have Trace Nodes at many points so I could see the way the sample flow used the Root & LocalEnvironment to produce a valid message with an attachment for the email node to send.

As Vitor has mentioned, this question has been asked before. Please use the search facility to garner all the hints & tips given to other users.
