When I start the setup to install I am getting the following warning message:

"The User Name that you are installing under ('Administrator') has more than 8 characters. If you continue and use this later to create DB2 databases then you can encounter problemms. (BIP8638W). "

Should I ignore this warning. OR do I have to create another user-ID.
It's a standalone setup I am planning on
Win 2k
MQ 52
WMQI 2.1
DB2 7.2.3

Venny,
You can ignore this error for now (while installing), but you need to create another user-id which is not longer than 8 char's long to work with WMQI.

I strongly recommend to use user and PASSWORD no more than 8 characters starting from installation !
