A C program put message to a local queue through MQ adapter(a third party product) from MQ Client to MQ server(on Solaris platform), and it use setmsgid by itself.

But why the message id was lose when I browsed the local queue?
How should I trace it?

How are you browsing the queue to tell that the message id was lost? You should be able to run amqsbcg to browse the queue and see the actual message id. My guess would be that the message id isn't exactly what you are expecting which is why it appears lost.
