Hi,

I am setting up MQ on a server.

I am using AIX 5.3 and MQ 6.0.2.5

when Iam trying to start the QM, its throwing following error,
WebSphere MQ queue manager 'ABC' starting.
AMQ7626: XA resource manager initialization failure. Refer to the error log for
more information.

The error log content is,
AMQ7622: WebSphere MQ could not load the XA switch load file for resource
manager 'myoracle'.

EXPLANATION:
An error has occurred loading XA switch file jdbcora_10G. If the error occurred
during startup then the queue manager will terminate. At all other times the
queue manager will continue without this resource manager meaning that it will
no longer be able to participate in global transactions. The queue manager will
also retry the load of the switch file at regular intervals so that the
resource manager will be able to participate again should the load problem be
resolved.


Please suggest on this.
What all things I need to check from my side to make sure that all the MQ configurations are correct.

I checked the permissions also. Provided necessary read permissions.

They are well set.

Then also its not working. getting the same error

Assuming the switch file is correct, have you checked if the oracle DB targeted is up an running?
