Why does WatchQ application does'nt display the messages put in transmission queue?
Doesn't display!!! What's the error your are getting. Was your XMITQ get(enabled) while you were trying to browse messages? _________________ Regards

Disclaimer - never used this tool.
I suspect the author will be along in a minute with an opinion but in the meantime:
- What happens when you try to display messages put in the transmission queue (which really shouldn't be sitting there long enough for you to view them in a working system!)? Do you just received a get-disabled error?
- You have (over and above anything in this app) all the usual means of authenticating a connection in WMQ. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
Insanity is the best defence.
If it shows '0'... blame it on the superior performance of MQ in moving the messages to the target queue manager.
If you are talking about the actual message detail.... remember by default transmission queues are set to "GET_INHIBITED". See the error message that flashes in watchq when you hit the display button... it shows 2016. Type "MQRC 2016" on command prompt and see... _________________ If you do not know the answer or you get the urge to answer with "RTFM" or "Search better in this forum", please refrain from doing so, just move on to the next question. Much appreciated.
ya...its bcause of the GETINHIBITED property...its shows the reason code 2016. thanks
So you got that working.
It's better if you poste your complete problem from next time including the reason code and error logs. It makes job easier. _________________ Regards
