Hello Everyone

I am having some problem installing MA88 in MQ5.2 in AIX machine. I followed the steps according to the MQ document.. Thank you very much for any help.

1. From IBM website, I downloadd MA88_aix.tar in my local machine (Win2000 box)
2. FTP to my UNIX AIX box at /tmp directory.

3. Accocunt to documentation, from /tmp directory: executed tar-xvf /tmp/mq88_aix.tar

4. I see new file mqjava in /tmp created as a result of the step 3 but did not see java directory created at /usr/mqm.

5. executed rm /tmp/ma88_aix.tar per installation docmunentation

You have missed step 6 (as listed in the support pac MA88) I guess.
6. Use smitty and
1. Uninstall all components that begin with mqm.java
2. Install components from the /tmp directory
