Since when was AIX != unix?
It is possible to use WMQ with different base directories for the log & data trees.
However these are usually links from /var/mqm/....
If fact it is recommended to have your MQ logs on a different volume to /var
but these are linked (usually soft linked) to /var/mqm
So where have you searched?
Have you used the 'find' command to looke for directories with the name of your queue manager?
What things have you tried in your efforts to find this directory? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

That is a terribly location to put your Message Broker log.
/var/spool/mqueue is where mail daemons put mail that is waiting to be processed.
Message Broker logs, unlike MQ Logs, are written to entirely user-determined locations. Tell your AIX admin that they have chosen a terrible place.
MQ logs on all unix platforms are written under /var/mqm/. |
