We are getting '2122' (Participant Not Available) message. 'db2swit' has been compiled, the XAResourceManager stanza appears to be correct and DB2INSTANCE is also correct. Is there anything else that I have nor considered. Does 'db2profile' need to be run for the userid starting the queue manager....in this case 'mqm'? There are no error messages in any of the relevant error logs.

TonyD,

Yes, db2profile must be run for the user starting the
queue manager prior to starting the queue manager.
That will probably solve your problem but if not, take a
look at the db2diag.log. This will give more detail on the
reason for the failure.
