I have a Windows 2003 server running MQ v6.0.2.5. The service is set to automatic and the queue mgr is set to start automatically from within mq explorer.
This used to behave correctly but no loner does so.
Is there a registry setting I should be checking?
There are no errors in the systems event viewer or qmgr logs. |

Doesn't work? Doesn't start? Runs but crashes?
A few symptoms might aid diagnosis here. Along with details of any recent maintenance to WMQ or Windoze; e.g. have you just gone to v6.0.2.5, have you applied fixes to Windoze, etc, etc.
Or did you just come in one morning and it suddenly started behaving "incorrectly"? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

And does it start normally if you right click start it in MQ Explorer?
Or if you stop and start the MQ Service.
I have a bunch of Windows MQ servers and every once in a great while (1 reboot out of 250 perhaps) I see the same thing. The MQ Service didn't come up after reboot, but does normally if I manually start it at that point. Next reboot for that server is fine. _________________ Peter Potkay

I should probably point that, unlikely as it sounds, I wasn't being sarcastic in this specific instance. I'm perfectly well aware of (and have suffered from) the Windows "Nothing Changed But No Longer Works" feature. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
