Can I run more than one listener with different port number on the same
server ( unix ) ?

It isn't exactly clear to me why you would want to run multiple MQ listeners for the same queue manager with different port numbers ... maybe you can add some information on why this would be a good idea? |

I thought using multiple ports was desirable ages ago when it was possible to run up against operating system limits with threads and processes of the listener. With all of the pooling that goes on in 5.3, you shouldn't hit any of these limits.
I also thought that people would do this to create a high and low priority connection into the queue manager. |
