Hey, I have installed Message Broker on my laptop. Everything is working fine but just wondering, why i am not able to view anything when i open the API Exerciser. It looks like contents are not viewable. Can anyone tell what is the problem. I have never seen something like that before. Thanks in advance. |

Thank you for the quick response.
There is no error message as such. I checked in event viewer and other logs. The display in CMP API Excerciser is not showing up properly. I have a 4 GB memory and the window pops up instantly when i click on CMP API Excerciser exe. But the contents are not visible. For eg. at the left hand corner i am suppose to see "Right Click to connect to configuration manager" which is viewed as a blue block. The text is not viewable anything inside. |

Right now based on ur description, I have a few suspicions.
1) It could be your CMP files are corrupted. Try running the same files in another similar machine. If it works, tat means its ur machine tat is giving problems.
2) If it doesnt work, it might need to reinstall or getting a working copy of the CMP files.
3) Personally I don't think it could be the hardware. But doing step 1 might eliminate that issue.
4) If your env is UNIX, try also testing with x-windows related apps like xclock. If xclock is showing up fine, I would believe it could be CMP files.
I hope I've helped. |

I agree with jasonlck. Its better to reinstall. Before tat, try one solution... Copy needful files from successful machine. _________________ WebSphere MQ, MB Support and Admin |
