I have some JMS objects created in WAS 6.1 using the "WebSphere MQ messaging provider". I'd like to be able to view/administer them from the "JMS Administered Objects" view of MQ Explorer; I am using MQ 7.0.0.1.

In MQ Explorer I am trying to add an Initial Context for the default WAS 6.1 JNDI namespace. But no matter what I try MQ Explorer can't connect to the JNDI Initial Context.

In the "Add Initial Context" dialog I have selected "Other" and tried various combinations for Factory Class, RequiredLibraries and Provider URL.

Should it be possible to configure MQ Explorer to connect to the WAS 6.1 JNDI and view the JMS objects created there? If so, can anyone help me with the parameters needed to add the Initial Context?

MQ Version:

Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 7.0.0.1
CMVC level: p700-001-081219
BuildType: IKAP - (Production)

WAS Version:

IBM WebSphere Application Server - ND, 6.1.0.21
