When I try to establish a connection between the Compute node out terminal it will give me a terminal selection pop-up after I select Out terminal, the connection is not getting established. When I select it again it gives the same problem after Terminal Selection pop-up it does nothing.
The environment details are
OS-Suse Enterprise Desktop 10
MB Toolkit Version - 6.1 |

Have you tried moving all the fluff from the mouse or if its an optical one... tried it on a surface that aint too shiny?
But seriously.....
Have you had the toolkit working on this OS before?
I dont know if trying the keyboard shortcuts will give different results but heres the link if you want to try....

Do any of the terminals give you a connection. I'm guessing you have the node you would like to connect to in the flow already.
This maybe a good time to raise a PMR with IBM (rather than a support call with the mouse manufacturer as I think we have ruled that out now ). |

Node connections are happening in all the nodes only Compute and Database nodes having connection problem with another nodes. |

I would like to confirm the same issue when using the toolkit on a Linux RH6 work station. Has there been a PMR and if so does anyone have a number?
Thanks. |

The same issue? 3 years later? Almost certainly a different version of the software, and any PMR raised back then would have been applied by now.
Raise a new PMR & find out about your problem. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Yes it is a different version I am seeing this behaviour in Version 8 of WMB Toolkit for Linux. When Installing the toolkit on a Win7 box it all works fine, my thought was that it may have been an issue with the OS or Kernel setup and might still apply regardless of the Toolkit version. |

And did you ensure that the toolkit installed correctly?
And did you ensure that you applied FixPack 1 to get to 8.0.0.1 of Toolkit?
And did you remove and reinstall Toolkit just in case?
And did you verify that the issue happens for all users of the install of the toolkit on the given machine, and is not related to user permissions or to the workspace? |
