I have copied the old logs, but it didnt work...
Can you pls help me to delete the Qm..  _________________ ITO- MQ ISE.

If the log folder was empty, and you don't think they were deleted, where did you copy them from?
And didn't work why? Same error? Different error? Did you copy the log folder contents or just the log files? Have you tried recreating the log files properly and using those? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Do you see any entry for the QMgr which is in question in mqs.ini file?. If so, delete that entry which will delete the QMgr. Then try to recreate it.

Thanks for your co-operation. Finally i have deleted a Qm manually. and recreate the same and now its working.

Would you care to share with us just exactly what you did? Hi,
Create a DUMMY Queue Manager and then copy the /var/mqm/log/DUMMY logs to the deleted one logs... and try to delete the queue manager ..it should work.
