i would like to know if its possible to trigger a script after queue "X" gets a message. I found something like "trigger script "X" when QMGR starts"

I also would like to know if i can see when (date / time) a queue was opend for writing?!

I use MQ7 on Linux.

Yes. MQ supports Triggering.

No, MQ does no automatic logging of application events.

It sure is.

Theres lots of posts about this, heres one I found by doing a quick search. The last post in the thread should give you a clue as to what you need to do...

Make sure you understand TRIGTYPE to get the trigger type thats right for you.

As for looking at when a queue was opened for writing.... If you look at the Q status you will see the PIDs that have an open output count. This may help you achieve what you want.
