Hi Folk,
I am facing one problem while installing the ISO2 IBM Plug in MQ Explorer to introduce "Broker Explorer" in that.
Here is the link to that ISO2 plug in, provided by IBM.
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=849&context=SSKM8N&context=SS3GH2&context=SSKMAB&context=SSLLVC&q1=The+Broker+Explorer&uid=swg24012457&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en
Even when I follow the installation instructions for that plug in, I can see plug ins in MQ Explorer > Help > About IBM Websphere MQ> "Plug in Details" Button
But I can't see those plug ins in MQ Explorer > Windows > Preferences > Websphere MQ Explorer > Enable plug ins
And this is important basically.
Another thing, I can see in the MQ Explorer logs at:
MQ Explorer > Help > About IBM Websphere MQ> "Configuration Details" > View Error Logs
---------------------------------------------------------------
!ENTRY org.eclipse.ui 4 4 Mar 20, 2009 10:14:52.172

Result that is desired :
That Plug should appear as "Broker Explorer" in MQ Explorer > Windows > Preferences > Websphere MQ Explorer > Enable plug ins
MQ Version : 6.0.2.4
Please help !!
Thanks

Now I am not getting the error that is shown above inthe Blue color.
But Still I can't see that plug ins in MQ Explorer > Windows > Preferences > Websphere MQ Explorer > Enable plug ins
As earlier I can see plug ins in MQ Explorer > Help > About IBM Websphere MQ> "Plug in Details" Button
Result that is desired :
That Plug should appear as "Broker Explorer" in MQ Explorer > Windows > Preferences > Websphere MQ Explorer > Enable plug ins
I have also checked the prerequisites are all fine.
Give me some solution to this problem. |

Hi All Again...
I meant to say that the Plug-in is installed now.
Which I came to know from the logs : MQ Explorer > Help > About IBM Websphere MQ> "Configuration Details" > View Error Logs
!ENTRY org.eclipse.update.configurator Mar 23, 2009 12:23:12.515
!MESSAGE Could not install bundle /c:/Program Files/IBM/Eclipse SDK30/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.hyades.logging.core_3.3.0/ Bundle "org.eclipse.hyades.logging.core" version "3.3.0" has already been installed from: update@/D:/Varun/ISO2/is02v3_wmqv6/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.hyades.logging.core_3.3.0/
!ENTRY org.eclipse.ui 4 4 Mar 23, 2009 12:23:22.953
!MESSAGE Invalid preference page path: DataPower Configuration
!ENTRY org.eclipse.ui 4 4 Mar 23, 2009 12:23:22.953
!MESSAGE Invalid preference page path: Service Trace
BUT THEN I am not able to see the Plug-in in : MQ Explorer > Windows > Preferences > Websphere MQ Explorer > Enable plug ins
I restarted the IBM MQ Explorer so many times.
My O.S. is Windows XP.
Java version "1.5.0_06"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_06-b05)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_06-b05, mixed mode, sharing)
Result that is desired :
That Plug should appear as "Broker Explorer" in MQ Explorer > Windows > Preferences > Websphere MQ Explorer > Enable plug ins
What else is required to see the desired Plug-in? No other requirement is even given under the IBM Installation Guide for ISO2 plug-in except MQ Explorer restart.
Please suggest, I am waiting for that.
Appreciate that. |
