Hello,

I'm looking to supportpac IS11 "IS11: WebSphere Business Integration using Statistics and accounting with V5 Broker". It was developped to V5 and the installation instructions refers a tool to import message flow into the v5 toolkit, called mqsimigratemsgflow.

In v6 broker I don't find mqsimigratemsgflow, is there a replacement to that?

Thanks
ramires

You only ever need to run mqsimigratemsgflows when migrating message flows from the MQSI v2.1 Control Center.
As of V5 and above, you just need to drop the flow into the newer Toolkit, load up and resave.

Thanks for your reply. I'm afraid missing something... the instructions say:

1. For MQSI V2.1 import the STATS.XML file into your control centre.
2. For WBI V5.0 use mqsimigratemsgflow to import the flow into the tooling.

The file with the flow is STATS.XML drooping it in the Toolkit results in a xml file.

Do I need to do something else?

Run mqsimigrateflows to move the 2.1 flow into a 5.0 project in a workspace.

Close the 5.0 Toolkit. Open a 6.x Toolkit and direct it to open the 5.0 workspace.

There is no step 3.

If you don't have 2.1 flows, then you don't need mqsimigrateflows.

If you do have 2.1 flows and you don't have 5.0, then you need to review the documentation for 6.0 and see what your migration paths from 2.1 are.

I've an "old" message flow, a sample one, provided with a suppportpac. I don't find in the 6.1 documentation a migration path from 2.1 artifacts. I guess I need to create a new flow

| but there is a migration path from 2.1 to 6.0...

next step: find a 6.0 installation!

Thanks
