I want to trigger a flow to query a database, parse the data into a web service request object and invoke the web service.
I would like for this query to be run 1 time per day.
Does broker have built in capabilities to do this with the timeout nodes? |

Hi wmb_worker,
Triggering once a day can be done using the timer nodes...for the web service you'll need the HTTP/SOAP nodes.
Regards. |

Sigh...
Did you think of searching for this problem?
This link is even on the same page as your question....

If you had taken the trouble to look here, you would have found the answer to your question about the timer nodes. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Really you don't want to antagonize smdavies. He was just showing you a way to help yourself. Give a man a fish he'll eat for a day. Teach him to fish and he'll never go hungry again... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

fjb_saper there is a right and a wrong way to "teach a man to fish". All of the "sigh..." crap just provokes a knee jerk reaction.
I will better control it next time. |

Oh, if you want to be *taught*, you have to buy training.

Thanks for your support.
Well wmb_worker, in all the time I have been visiting this forum, I don't think I have seen a comment like yours before.
Therefore, I will take your advice and hereby promise NEVER to post a reply to any of your questions in the future even if I know the answer. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

It's unfortunate this happened at weekend; Had I seen the post in question before any responses I'd have moderated it!

I think this is something we might all wish to consider if a public apology is not forthcoming. Both for the laungage & the belief he's entitled to free training from us in a manner he deems acceptable. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
