I have message broker 6.1 running on aix and ibm db2 8.1.1 running on the same box.

I am connecting to 32bit db2.

Have added ODBCINI32=/var/mqsi/odbc/odbc32.ini and MQSI_LIBPATH32=$MQSI_LIBPATH32:/home/drinst5/sqllib/lib32 in my profile.

And following entries in odbc32.ini

[ODBC Data Sources]
MQSIBKDB=IBM DB2 version 8 ODBC Driver

[MQSIBKDB]
DRIVER=/home/user1/sqllib/lib/libdb2.a
Description=MQSIBKDB DB2 ODBC Database
Database=MQSIBKDB

[ODBC]
# To turn on ODBC trace set Trace=1
Trace=0
TraceFile=/tmp/odbctrace.out
TraceDll=/opt/mqsi/6.1/ODBC32/V5.3/lib/odbctrac.so
InstallDir=/opt/mqsi/6.1/ODBC32/V5.3
UseCursorLib=0
IANAAppCodePage=4
UNICODE=UTF-8

Initially with above values somehow we got broker created. Now whenever i try to delete getting the below message

BIP2321E: Database error: ODBC return code '-1'.
The message broker encountered an error whilst executing a database operation. The ODBC return code was '-1'. See the following messages for information obtained from the database pertaining to this error.
Use the following messages to determine the cause of the error. This is likely to be such things as incorrect datasource or table names. Then correct either the database or message broker configuration.
BIP2322E: Database error: SQL State ''IM003''; Native Error Code '0'; Error Text ''[DataDirect][ODBC lib] Specified driver could not be loaded''.
The error has the following diagnostic information: SQL State ''IM003'' SQL Native Error Code '0' SQL Error Text ''[DataDirect][ODBC lib] Specified driver could not be loaded''
This message may be accompanied by other messages describing the effect on the message broker itself. Use the reason identified in this message with the accompanying messages to determine the cause of the error.

Its been a show stopper. As i am not able to delete or create .

Hi,

How you created DSN name?
Check whether the DSN configured correctly or Nt. I mean whether DSN working/nt.
See the broker whether its configured for DSN(by mqsiservice).

DB2 8.1.7 (or 8.2) is required for WMB 6.1

However this should not give the error, which I am also getting in 32 bit execution groups (but it works fine in 64 bit execution groups).

Any ideas?
